Tennis ball sized heads are ideal for indoor growing, winter greenhouse, window boxes or wherever you desire to plant this very tasty lettuce with medium green butterhead leaves and creamy centres.
Sow seeds in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Continue to sow about every 3 weeks or harvest outer leaves when a few inches in height. Lettuce germinates best in cooler soils.
Good companion to cabbage, carrots, chives, onions and beets.
